About us.
We're Juliana and Trey, travel creators and photographers constantly on the road with our golden retriever, Koda. This is our story and how we see America.
How we got here.
We matched in October 2022. Three months in, we figured out we were essentially the same person with slightly different accents and a shared love for exploring new places.
We got engaged in Hawai'i in January 2024 and got married in January 2026. Koda, our golden retriever, joined us in the middle and has been on every trip he can go on ever since.
American Travel Archives started as a way to document our trips and share what we were finding. It's grown into what we do full-time now. We travel, we create, we share it with you. We hope to inspire you to explore and appreciate the world around you. Thanks for being here.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she moved here in 2019 with nothing but a suitcase.
Aside from traveling she loves cooking for the people she loves and playing piano.
She loves a good roadtrip and would rather spend a few days driving to our destination over flying. She enjoys the quality time and unexpected stops along the way.

Trey.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He brings a 35mm film camera and a few rolls of film on every trip we go on.
He does all of the driving and the maintenance on the car from oil changes to brakes.
From being a camera shy software developer when he met Juliana to now working with her as we travel the country together.

Koda.
Our two-year-old Golden Retriever. He comes on every trip we can fit him into, which is most of them.
Has opinions about paw massages (for) and bath time (against). Begs us to brush his teeth, which is a personality trait we did not see coming.
Professional greeter at every diner and every trailhead we visit.
